Description
An in-process sketch of stages and elements to consider when managing software for research
Over the past six months, Research Software has established itself as a meaningful framework for enhancing conversations about scholarly production across Leiden University. In order to support researchers and establish a pathway for recognising innovative forms of work, Leiden University now embarks on the task of codifying policies on Research Software Management practices.
To allow a multiplicity of stakeholders at the university to help shape these policy ambitions, RSCL has composed a Research Software Management Workflow document open for annotation. Comments submitted, either directly to the document or via email to our community manager, will play a major role in the development of policies on ways to manage research software. We believe that policy is most meaningful when co-created with our community.
We hope you feel welcome to add your perspective to the document linked above. Please reach out with any questions.
